When the predator came to the first house, he just huffed and puffed and it blew the house apart. The first chick ran to his sister's house.
The predator came to the second house and exhaled and exerted himself and it blew the house apart. The two chicks scampered to their sister's house.
But when the wolf came to the third house, he exhaled and puffed but it wouldn't move. The little birds were safe inside.
Finally, the wolf was too tired to try any longer. He went away defeated.
The three chicks learned that it is important to be ready and to build a sturdy house. They lived happily ever after in their brick house.
